USASK Awards

The USASK awards are given out annually to 5 members of the University of Saskatchewan Dance Team for their efforts during the season. USASK stands for; Ultimate, Spirit, Advance, Star, & Kinship. See below for our award recipients.

Ultimate Award

A dancer who emulates all around excellency in each style of dance through their skills and performances. This dancer is also a leader and positively represents the values of the team.

Spirit Award

A dancer who displays enthusiasm, loyalty, and support to their fellow dancers, and exemplary team spirit.

Advance Award

A dancer who put noticeable effort into improving themselves over the season with determination, persistence, and. perseverance.

Star Rookie Award

Given to the rookie dancer who emulates all around excellency through their skills & performances. This dancer is a leader and positively represents the values of the team.

Kinship Award

Voted on by all team members, is a dancer who is recognized by their kindness, leadership, inclusion and care for others.
