The Creation of Kimmy

When I first started coaching, the team I was assisting with had a team bear named Manny. I thought it was the cutest thing. At the end of the year, because the coach was retiring. each girl got their own Manny to remember the team by. All I wanted from that moment was a team that meant that much to my athletes.

Fast forward many years, I have a team to call my own, the U of S Dance Team and it’s time they get a good luck bear! Brogan and I had a lot of fun putting her together and here’s a video we created of our fun! We named her Kimbearly Anne Pawssible in honor of our pom theme, Kim Possible!

Fun fact: At Ice Breaker, since it was most of our team’s first time on the mats, we used Kimmy as a center mark so they knew where to set up their formations!
